Horror and Moral terror can never be exonerated. They have no real value. Pure evil has no real place.

Wonderful song.. Especially the lyrics. “MGMT - Time To Pretend”

…And what constitutes evil, real evil, is the taking of a single human life. Whether a man would die tomorrow or the day after or eventually… it doesn’t matter. Because if God does not exist, then life… every second of it… Is all we have.

A Little Piece of My History

How did I come to be a vampire? The best person to go to for that would be Mael, for I don’t know why he chose me. But I will explain to the best of my ability. I was born in 1407 in Venice, Italy to a small, insignificant family. My mother and my father were kind and gentle creatures. I had one brother, Milo, a sister, Francesca, and no other siblings. Milo was two years my younger, Francesca 5 years my senior. I had a rather uneventful childhood. My father married me off when I was merely 15, to a man named Doriano Giuseppe. Doriano was 5 years older than I, and his first choice was my sister, but she had already been married. He was not unkind to me, but he did not treat me as if I really mattered that much. I married him rather hesitantly, but knew that I could not refuse, as it would mean disgrace to my family. I gave birth to our first child a year later, when I was 16. We named him Alessandro (after Doriano’s father). Alessandro looked more like Doriano, with his dark hair and dark eyes. Two years later, when I had just turned 18, I had our second son, Oliveri. Oliveri also took after Doriano, except with my gray/blue eyes. I loved Alessandro and Oliveri more than anything in the world. Over a year later, when I was nearly 20, a stranger appeared on our doorstep. On the night that Doriano was not home. I had no way of protecting myself or my children. I didn’t want to let him in, but he busted through the door. He was telling me something in English, which I did not understand at the time, and I cannot remember now for the life of me. This man was my maker, Mael. He took me from my children, my husband, my siblings, my parents. I can never forgive him for that.
